I have been doing many things lately, the new house, the move, etc. As you may have noticed, I finally published the new beta version of the program and lately I also added 2 Chinese versions for the new version. I think I am ready to start working on the pinyin version that you have already sent me!!! I think I will be able to 'compile' a Chinese package soon. We will go back to Athens next week, so I may be a bit unreachable, but I will try to create and publish the pinyin version! We have just returned from a Chinese Missions conference here in the United States where your ministry was suggested as a potential partner in a community project called the Chinese Treasures CD. That CD focuses primarily on Scripture, but also includes audio Scriptures, commentary and reference works, has undergone a complete revision (Chinese Treasures 4.0) and will be available for free distribution in November. To date we have freely distributed in excess of 100,000 copy-able CDs. Our desire is to add the Pinyin Bible from your excellent web-site to our library. Would that be possible? We seem ot have some similiar dreams via simple html. 9 years ago I was asked by chinese brothers if I could make a bible program that had a chinese menu, ability to take notes in chinese, and and some references (specifically some wanted greek) that ws also free. They id nto feel it was christian to use pirated software. Good for them! Well I was no programmer and still am not. But I thought about it and knew I knew html and saw, i could do something for them. Not as nice as a program but useable for the things they asked for. So birthed the html bible. It has grown now to include Korean, Thai, indonesian, hebrew, greek and aramic on the way (I think) It has sound files for a few bibles, several public domain refernce works (begun an idea of how to make a index in thai that links to the english) note system in 3 lanaguges (but has templetes to make any langauge that is html supported), some free christian graphics, a dictionary of christian topics (articles) and commentary in EN, TH, and KR. Everything is public domain or i have been given permission to include it in my CD (now DVD) . So why am I telling you? I would like to include the pinyin bible if I can get permission.
